NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that application has been made on behalf of the Springfield Water and Sewer Commission for the approval of the Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) for the Springfield Water and Sewer Commission to acquire certain lands or rights of land in Blandford, Massachusetts for public water supply protection purposes, said land in question being identified as Lot 2 and Lot 3 of Map 403 Parcel 6.2, having been recorded in the Hampden Country Register of Deeds in Book 23128, Page 420, located at Gibbs Road within the watershed of Little River.
In response to said application, the MassDEP acting under the provisions of General Laws, Chapter 40, Section 39B and Section 41, as amended and each and every other act thereto enabling, will hold a hearing, remotely, on Friday, July 16, 2021 at 10:00 am. Access to the hearing is as follows:

The plan showing the land in question is on file electronically with the MassDEP and within their office located at 436 Dwight Street, Springfield, MA 0 I I 03 and in the office ofthe Town Clerk of Blandford. Said plan is entitled “Plan of Land in Blandford. Massachusetts prepared for William B. Hull, LLC. Comments pertaining to this matter may be made orally at the time of the hearing or submitted in writing at any time before July 23, 2021 5:00 p.m., addressed to MassDEP, Christine Simard, Department of Environmental Protection – WERO, 436 Dwight Street, Springfield, MA 01103.
