Town Administrator (A)

The Town Administrator is appointed by the Board of Selectmen for a three-year term pursuant to MGL, c.41, Section 23A. The Town Administrator operates under the strategic direction of the Board of Selectmen and assists with overseeing Town departments, activities, and projects for which the Town Administrator is given authority, responsibility, or control by by-law, Town Meeting vote, and by vote of the Board of Selectmen. The Town Administrator is responsible for assuring effective management of town affairs and operation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws, rules and regulations and within mandated DOR and Mass General Laws.
