The Blandford Board of Health has an opening for a part-time (approximately 4.5 hours per week) transfer station attendant. Please complete a Transfer Station Attendant Job Description and complete a Town of Blandford Employment Application. Applications being accepted until December 22, 2017.
Transfer Station Stickers are Now Available: Pick up your 2017-2018 transfer station sticker on Wednesdays from 6-7:00pm in the Board of Health office at the Town Hall, or at the Transfer Station on Saturdays from 8am-12pm or Tuesdays from 6pm to 8pm. STICKER APPLICATIONS ARE DUE BY 6/30/17 and there is a $25 late fee for applications received after 6/30. Please note: They will not be available at the Transfer Station until June 3rd. Due to the impending storm, Town Hall and the Transfer Station will be closed on Tuesday, March 14, 2017; only essential personnel will be working. Please be advised that there will also be a parking ban in affect for town roads.
The Transfer station will open on Wednesday to accommodate the closing.
The Blandford Board of Health will be opening the transfer station to ALL Blandford residents Thursday 1/26 /17 from 5:30- 8:30pm for disposal of refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners and propane tanks for no cost. NO TRASH – these items only. No dump sticker needed. Take advantage of your town’s great facility.
