A public dog hearing will be held by the Blandford Select Board on Monday, May 3 at 6:00pm on a Complaint of Vicious or Nuisance Dogs as defined by Section 157, Chapter 140, General Laws. The hearing will take place at Blandford Town Hall, 1 Russell Stage Road. Pursuant to Governor Baker’s order suspending certain provisions of the Open Meeting Law, G.L.C. 30A, §18, and the Governor’s order imposing strict limitation on the number of people that may gather in one place, this hearing will be conducted via remote participation to the greatest extent possible. Pursuant to MGL, CH40A Sec. 9 the Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing at the Blandford Town Hall, 1 Russell Stage Road, Blandford, MA 01008 virtually at 6:00pm on May 5, 2021. This hearing is scheduled under the following Zoning By-Laws of the Town of Blandford: Section IX – Site Plan Review and Special Permits and XV – Adult Use Marijuana Establishments of the Zoning By-Laws of the Town of Blandford to consider the application for a request for a Site Plan Review and Special Permit for the Belle Fleur Holdings, LLC, Marijuana Cultivation Project, located at 138 Otis Stage Road, Blandford, MA 01008.

The applicants propose to install a marijuana cultivation establishment on 36.5 acres, that is currently zoned as Agricultural and Undeveloped with proposed access from Otis Stage Road.

In accordance with Chapter 40A, Section 9 of the Massachusetts General Laws, the Blandford Planning Board is looking to adopt Rules and Regulations governing the organization and conduct of the Planning Board and the governing review and action on Site Plan Review, and Special Permit Applications. These Rules and Regulations can be reviewed here or hard copies may be obtained in the Town Hall.

Hearing will be scheduled on May 5, 2021 during the Planning Board meeting scheduled to begin at 6:00pm. Agenda for this meeting includes the regular meeting, a hearing on Belle Fleur Holdings, LLC, and this hearing, which will begin immediately following the Belle Fleur hearing.

A public hearing will be held by the Blandford Select Board on April 5, 2021 at 6:00pm on the petition for joint or identical pole locations from NSTAR ELECTRIC COMPANY DBA EVERSOURCE ENERGY and VERIZON NEW ENGLAND, INC., upon the plan marked #1A4S2HM. The petitioners are seeking to be granted permission to locate poles, wires, cables, and fixtures, including the necessary anchors, guys and other such sustaining and protecting fixtures to be owned and used in common by the petitioners, along and across the southwesterly side of Sperry Road at a point approximately one thousand four hundred five feet southeasterly from the center line of Russell Stage Road. Virtual Community Outreach Meeting for a Proposed Cannabis Cultivation Microbusiness

Pudding Hill Farm, LLC – Virtual Community Outreach Meeting

Pudding Hill Farm, LLC is organizing a virtual community outreach meeting for a proposed cannabis cultivation microbusiness in Town. The meeting is scheduled for March 26, 2021 at 5:30pm. In light of COVID-19, it will be held virtually as follows:

The proposed cannabis cultivation microbusiness is anticipated to be a 250sf indoor barn operation located at 1 Julius Hall Road. There will be an opportunity for members of the public to ask questions.

Please know these are preliminary efforts of the company to connect with the community to share their intent and answer questions. Pudding Hill Farm will still have to go through the normal review process with our Planning Board in the foreseeable future prior to seeing any implementation of what’s being proposed.
