In accordance with Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 5, the Blandford Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing at the Blandford Town Hall, 1 Russell Stage Road, Blandford, MA 01008 at 6:00 PM on January 10, 2024. The nature of this hearing is to amend Blandford Zoning Bylaws by adding Section XVI, Battery Energy Storage Systems.

The proposed amendment to the Zoning Bylaws can be downloaded here or may be viewed in the Office of the Town Clerk. Anyone wishing information and/or to be heard on these matters should appear at the time and place designated.

Public Hearing – March 8, 2023 – Planning Board

Pursuant to MGL, CH40A Sec. 9, the Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing at the Blandford Town Hall, 1 Russell Stage Road, Blandford, MA 01008 at 6:00pm on March 8, 2023. This hearing is scheduled under the following Zoning By-Laws of the Town of Blandford: Section VIII – Ground Mounted Solar Photovoltaic Installations and Section lX, Site Plan Review and Special Permits of the Zoning By-Laws of the Town of Blandford, to consider the application for a Site Plan Review and Special Permit for Jacqueline Coury, located at 3 Huntington Road, Blandford, MA 01008. This application is to install 12.8kW solar ground mounted installation consisting of (32 panels) and an approximately 70 feet trench.

The applicant, Jacqueline Coury, proposes to install a residential medium ground mounted 12.8 kW solar system (32 Panels) at 3 Huntington Road, Lot No. 102-0-14.1 consisting of 36.329 acres.

This hearing is scheduled under the following Zoning By-Laws of the Town of Blandford: Section IX – Site Plan Review and Special Permits and XV – Adult Use Marijuana Establishments. of the Zoning By-Laws of the Town of Blandford to consider the application for a Site Plan Review and Special Permit for PUDDING HILL FARM, LLC, Marijuana Cultivation Project, located at 1 Julius Hall Road, Blandford, MA 01008. This application is for a Tier 1 Cannabis Cultivation Facility.

The applicants, Thomas W. Fielding and Michael Scott O’Connor propose to start a small indoor heritage marijuana cultivation facility in an existing, renovated barn, located on 1 Julius Hall Road, Lot No. 414-0-17 which consists of 3.6 acres, that is currently zoned as Agricultural and Undeveloped.
