The region did not meet the damage threshold to trigger federal assistance to help with debris cleanup we experienced from the most recent ice storm. Therefore, we will be seeking allocation of local Town funds to clean up debris on public property only. This means private property owners are responsible for managing/disposing debris from their own property. Please DO NOT pile debris on public roadside or any other public area. Fire permits will be available from January 15 to May 1st for open burning if necessary. Permits can be applied for online on the town website here.
